On Friday August 13th 1999 Roger Waters played on Montage Mountain in Scranton Pa before 13 thousand drought stricken fans. Then the sky opened and it rained HARD for close to 5 hours. That did not drench my enthusiasm, though it did stop me from getting many pictures. I was not going to ruin my new camera just weeks after I bought it! I stayed for every note but I did seek refuge under the beer tent at the lodge right behind the stage. That is where I seen Carol working security and how I was able to get autographs from the entire band. She was back stage during the 2 hour delay. She took a paper off the wall that had an arrow pointing for the band to know which way to go on stage. I just missed a real close picture of Roger as he was leaving the stage. It just came out way too dark. Anyway the show was really excellent and it's a shame other tour dates won't have the celestial light show that was at this one. Shine On!
